MHSCA & Gatorade Longevity Recognition
10/15/20/25 YEAR COACHING SERVICE CERTIFICATE
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have distinguished himself/herself with good coaching ethics and promoted good sportsmanship throughout their coaching career.
- May use up to 10 years coaching outside of Michigan
- May use coaching at any level as long as it is a school sponsored interscholastic sport.
- To receive a general coaching certificate you must have been coaching at least one sport per year at any level for 10, 15, 20, 25 years.
- May DOWNLOAD for specific certificates for a sport and for more than one sport provided you qualify for specified number of years in that sport. This can be at any level. You cannot however count more than one level for a sport in any one year.
Certificate Information
Sport association members may download the fillable pdf certificate when you reach the coaching longevity milestones of 10, 15, 20, 25 years. Just complete the fillable information requested and print.
The MHSCA would like to keep track of your longevity so please send us an email at: mhsca1954@gmail.com and give us your name, school and name of certificate.
30/35/40/45 YEAR COACHING SERVICE PLAQUE
50 YEAR COACHING SERVICE CRYSTAL AWARD
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have distinguished himself/herself with good coaching ethics and promoted good sportsmanship throughout their coaching career. Your AD or principal’s signature confirms this for you.
- May use up to 10 years coaching outside of Michigan
- May use coaching at any level as long as it is a middle/high school MHSAA sponsored interscholastic sport.
- To receive a general coaching plaque you must have been coaching at least one sport per year at any level for 30, 35, 40, 45 years.
- To receive a special coaching crystal award you must have been coaching at least one sport per year at any level for 50 years.
- May apply for specific plaque for a sport and for more than one sport provided you qualify for specified number of years in that sport. This can be at any level. You cannot however count more than one level for a sport in any one year.
