BS Michigan State University, swam four seasons, inning Big Ten individual title in 1977
- 32 years as Boy’s and Girls’s Swimming and Diving Coach / Science teacher at Bloomfield Hills Lahser High School-1979-present (retired from teaching in 2010 after 31 years)
- Coached 82 National Interscholastic Swim Coaches’ Assoc. (NISCA) Female All-Americans, 75 Male NISCA All-Americans, and 81 NISCA Academic All-Americans
- Teams have placed in top ten in the State meet 39 times, coached 19 indiv state champs and 4 state championship relay teams, Boys’ State Runners-up-2003 & ’04
- MISCA Zone Coach of the Year four times, State Coach of the Year in 1984 and 2006
- MHSCA COY-2004 and NHSACA COY nominee 2008
- Awarded MISCA’s Matt Mann honor (HOF) in 2005
- MISCA Exec. Board1990-present, MISCA President 2006-08
- Member MHSCA Executive Board.
